My name is Nick DeCarlo and I created Urban Corridor to showcase the growth and transformation of the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City corridor, as well as provide an outlet for my thoughts and photos on development within the Corridor region. I am a 2008 graduate of Iowa State University's five year NAAB-accredited program, with a Bachelor's degree in architecture and a secondary focus in urban planning and historic preservation. I studied in Italy through ISU's College of Design Rome Program in the spring semester of 2007 and spent additional time traveling through Greece. I am currently working as an intern architect in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and am enjoying being a member of a community that is reshaping itself following a devastating flood.
